Melissa Daniel is Gallatin’s Director of Global Programs. She contributes to the operational and strategic management of the global office by co-authoring policies and developing processes to keep students, staff and faculty safe and productive while away, overseeing annual budgets, coordinating logistics for the school’s international initiatives, and working closely with faculty and Deans to grow Gallatin’s participation in NYU’s Global Network. She also oversees the office’s marketing efforts and has helped lead student programs in Bulgaria, India, Istanbul, Senegal and London, among others. Throughout Melissa’s fifteen years of experience in the nonprofit sector she’s worked to conceptualize, plan and execute programs that make a difference in people’s lives. Prior to coming to Gallatin in 2008, Melissa served as the Director of Community Outreach for Washington University in St. Louis’ division of Geriatrics.
