D.B. Gilles is a playwright, screenwriter and television writer. His most recent play, Sparkling Object , was produced in New York in the fall of 2010 at Canal Park Playhouse. Four of his plays are published by Dramatists Play Service: Men’s Singles (originally produced at South Coast Repertory Company) , The Legendary Stardust Boys, Cash Flow and The Girl Who Loved The Beatles. He is co-author of the George W. Bush parody W. The First Hundred Days: A White House Journal . His non-fiction includes The Screenwriter Within and The Portable Film School . His book on comedy writing entitled You’re Funny! Turn Your Sense of Humor Into A Lucrative New Career will be published in 2011. He is also the author of the popular blog Screenwriters Rehab: For Screenwriters Who Can’t Get Their Acts Together. He is a member of The Writers Guild of America and The Dramatists Guild.
