MA Orientation

All incoming Gallatin graduate students must plan to attend the MA Orientation prior to the start of your first semester.

As a Gallatin student, you will find that you will spend much of your time at NYU exploring courses offered by other schools of the university. Orientation is an opportunity to find out how to familiarize yourself with all of NYU and to assist you in making choices that will contribute to your academic objectives and long-term plans. At orientation, you will meet other entering Gallatin graduate students and Gallatin faculty members and learn about the NYU registration process.

The MA Orientation will be held during Welcome Week (August 26-30). The date and time will be announced soon. If you are unable to attend, please contact Jamie Berthe

If you live locally, we invite you to attend an Admitted Student Advising and Registration Workshop on:

Tuesday, April 30

5:30 pm

1 Washington Place (corner of Broadway)

Room 801

Refreshments will be served

Please note: The Gallatin Graduate MA Orientation is only for students who have been admitted to the Gallatin School. If you are a prospective student who wishes to learn more about Gallatin, please attend one of our information sessions.
