Audrey Nizen

Former Guess Visiting Professor in Fashion and Fashion Business

A top fashion executive and a graduate of NYU, Audrey Nizen has held senior-level positions with some of the world’s most recognized retailers and brands, including Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, and Sasson Jeans. As the vice president and creative director at Bloomingdale’s from 2003 to 2013, Nizen elevated the store’s creative standards and was responsible for the brand management, strategic planning, and creative execution of the retailer’s marketing materials. While there, she also forged critical partnerships and collaborations with luxury brands such as David Yurman, Chanel, Prada, and Louis Vuitton. From 1995 to 2002, Nizen founded and then served as the creative director for Arts and Crafts Film Production company where she developed brand strategy for music, retail, and hospitality industry clients including The Rolling Stones, Sade, Alitalia, Neiman Marcus, Starwood Hotels, Timberland, Hanes, and Venator Corp. For twelve years, in her role as vice president and creative director at Macy’s, she led the creative team during a period of major growth for the retailer.
