A director, producer, and screenwriter for film and television, Pedro Cristiani wrote the screenplay for the award-winning 1996 feature film Moebius. From 1997 to 2008, he was a prime-time television show runner, an advertising executive producer, and a story consultant for film and TV studios. His 2009 independent short horror film Man in a Bag won five international film awards and his 2010 feature film Deus Irae won 20 international awards. His recent work includes Politics+Advertising, a documentary that exposes the relationship between the mass media and political power throughout the Argentine dictatorship and democratic governments.   He is a film professor at Universidad de Palermo in Argentina and lecturer at NYU-Buenos Aires.   Cristiani taught “Guerrilla Screenwriting” at Gallatin from 2003-2008 and returned to NYU as a visiting faculty member in 2011 and 2014. In 2015, he became a Member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, serving as Juror for the Emmy’s Sir Peter Ustinov Scriptwriting Award.
