BA '15 - Health Policy, Health Economics, and Healthcare
Albert, pre-dental student, saw Gallatin as a place that offers students both a guided, well thought-out path along with numerous possibilities. His concentration at Gallatin, Health Policy, Health Economics, and Healthcare, focuses on how economics drive health policy. It also speaks to his professional ambitions of becoming oral surgeon, and drawing from his professional experience to work in health policy. He finished his science course work in the College of Arts and Sciences while taking health policy classes in Wagner and epidemiology in Steinhart. A volunteer for Columbia Medical Center’s emergency room, Albert also works as an assistant manager at a dental office.
