Kevin Gotkin’s teaching and research focus on the role of disability in contemporary American life. He is completing his dissertation at the University of Pennsylvania about rituals of endurance in the US, from danceathons to telethons to walkathons to hackathons. His wider interests include media history, queer theory, and research-creation. His teaching experience includes courses on media theory, ritual studies, and public space.
