MA Candidate - Participatory Design, Sustainabilty, and Urban space
Victoria moved to New York from London, where she spent several years working as a digital and innovation consultant. During this time, she began to think about how design and innovation could be used as tools for sustainable socio-economic change. Victoria graduated from the University of Nottingham with a BA in English and her wide-ranging experiences and interdisciplinary background have informed her desire to study at Gallatin. While at Gallatin, she will combine her interest in socio-economic, political, and spatial theory with her background in design to think about how cultural diversity and creativity can contribute to building sustainable societies and empowered communities.
