BA Candidate - The Practice of Play
Chloe grew up in New Jersey and has spent her time at Gallatin studying theater and creative writing. Some of her favorite classes at Gallatin have been taught by Fiasco Theatre Company members Jessie Austrian, Ben Steinfeld, and Noah Brody. The classes are hands-on arts workshops that cover voice and speech, Shakespeare, scene-study, and musical theater. Chloe also took two classes taught by Kristoffer Diaz that covered the foundations of playwriting and a offered a space to workshop new pieces and plays. These classes were fundamental to the development of Chloe’s concentration, The Practice of Play. Outside of the classroom, Chloe performs with groups on campus such as Tisch New Theatre, Dangerbox Improv, Shakespeare in the Square, and the Dancers Choreographers Alliance. She is also a cast member of the Reality Show at NYU that performs a student-devised sketch comedy show about transitioning into college, and performs for incoming first-years at Madison Square Garden and The Barclays Center.
