Molly Gilbert

BA '10 - Human Rights, Social Justice, and Latin American Studies

Molly's concentration on human rights, social justice, and Latin American studies led her to take classes in Spanish, photography, and documentary film. Originally from Los Angeles, she served as an intern at the Center for Human Rights and Global Justice at NYU’s Law School and spent a semester in Chile studying culture, development, and social justice. “What I love so much about Gallatin,” she says, “is the way that your concentration can really grow with you. From semester to semester as you take more classes and are exposed to new ideas and experiences, you can constantly incorporate them into your studies and expand your concentration in new directions.” After graduating from Gallatin, Molly enrolled in the master’s program for International Education at NYU Steinhardt.
