Molly Gilbert (BA ‘10) concentrated on human rights, social justice and Latin American studies, taking classes in Spanish, photography and documentary film as well. Originally from Los Angeles, she spent a semester in Chile studying culture, development and social justice. Gilbert also served as an intern at the Center for Human Rights and Global Justice at NYU’s Law School. “What I love so much about Gallatin,” she says, “is the way that your concentration can really grow with you. From semester to semester as you take more classes and are exposed to new ideas and experiences, you can constantly incorporate them into your studies and expand your concentration in new directions.” Gilbert is currently in the master’s program for International Education at NYU’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development.
