The Power of Persuasion: How to Use Your Voice and Body Language to Get What You Want

We use persuasion every day in our personal and professional lives, whether it’s to pitch our business colleagues or professors on an idea, convince our clients to sign a contract, or influence our friends about which movie to see. How can you maximize your persuasion skills to get more of what you want out of life?

In this session, motivational speaker, entrepreneur, and best selling author, Karen Siff Exkorn (MA '96), will go inside the art of persuasion to teach you the skills of how to successfully influence others.

You will learn how to:

• Use Body Language secrets
• Know what to say and how to say it
• Read and analyze your audience
• Find the right “influential” outfit to wear
• Create a compelling first and last impression
