Alumni Day: America Ahead

David Burstein (GAL ’12), author of Fast Future: How the Millennial Generation is Shaping Our World, and CEO and founder of Run for America, will speak about the changing landscape of American politics in the wake of the midterms and what 2016 might hold. Burstein will also offer insights into the emerging new electorate and challenges to 21st century political leadership.

CEO & Founder of Run for America, a disruptive post-partisan initiative to bring a new generation of talent into American politics and break Congressional polarization. He is the author of Fast Future: How the Millennial Generation is Shaping Our World and the founder of Generation18, which registered 25,000 voters in 2008, as well as the director of the documentaries 18 in '08 and Up to Us. David is a contributor to Fast Company, a frequent consultant, speaker, and commentator on Millennials, social innovation and politics. He has appeared on CNN, FOX, MSNBC, NPR, and in The New York Times, USA Today, and Politico.
