Urban Democracy Lab
Join the Urban Democracy Lab Student Advisory Board for an evening of conversation with NYU faculty and professionals in the fields of public policy and tenant organizing as we debunk the term “gentrification.”
This student-run teach-in aims to provide a broader understanding of a term heard within the academic sphere and in discussions outside the classroom. As students of a “global university” that claims to be “in and of” the cities that host our purple torch, the UDL Student Advisory Board urges NYU students to gain a more robust understanding of how gentrification is shaping the cities where we dwell.
Sponsored by the Student Advisory Board of the UDL.
