Global Fellowship in Human Rights 2017 Symposium

The term “human rights” is widely used among scholars, activists, politicians, aid workers, and NGO officials, but its meaning is fluid. The Gallatin Global Fellowship in Human Rights provides selected undergraduate and graduate students with funding for extended research or experiential learning projects that explore the questions that surround the field of human rights.

The Global Fellowship in Human Rights Symposium is the culmination of their research and study and allows Fellows to present their work to the NYU community. Join us as the current cohort present their work and discuss the contexts in which they conducted it: Mehreen Arif; Naa-Djama Attoh Okine; Victoria Berg; Grace Larkin; Rachel Law; Michael Leonetti*; Liza Martinez; Tiffen McAlister; Nahal Mottaghian; Katie Mulkowsky; and Hai Zhou.
