Kirstin Allio (BA ’96) holds degrees from Brown University and NYU and has taught creative writing at Brown. Her book Buddhism for Western Children (out October 1) is the first release from The Iowa Review Series in Fiction.
Tatiana Forero Puerta (MA ’08) will read from Yoga for the Wounded Heart: A Journey, Philosophy, and Practice of Healing Emotional Pain (Lantern Books, 2018), which is part philosophy, part memoir.
Photographer Beowulf Sheehan (MA ’96) will discuss AUTHOR (Black Dog & Leventhal, October 9, 2018), which features more than 200 writers, historians, journalists, playwrights, and poets from 35 countries, along with an essay about his experiences.
