Horn Family Environmental Studies Resource Fund

 

The Horn Family Environmental Studies Resource Fund supports projects related to environmentalism, environmental studies, environmental activism and events to improve the environment both inside NYU and in the city and the world. Awards from the Fund shall be made to provide resources to students to support independent research, conference attendance, field work, overseas projects and other needs of students focusing on environmental studies.

Deadline for Proposals: March 3rd, 2013

Eligibility: All students in the Gallatin School at NYU are eligible for the maximum award of $4,000 (though smaller project budgets are welcome)

Project Timetables: To begin no sooner than January 2013 and continuing through the academic year 2013-2014; projects should be concluded no later than end of Spring semester 2014. There will be another Call for Proposals in the spring of 2013 to cover summer grants for 2013, but you are welcome to apply for projects for the summer and fall 2013 now as well.
