Advising Questionnaire

Questions

At Gallatin, students, working with their academic advisers, develop individualized programs of study, the central focus of which is an interdisciplinary, integrated, dynamic concentration guided by a productive idea, concept, question, or issue. It is worthwhile at this moment to consider some of the ideas, subjects, concepts, and disciplines of particular importance to you.

(You are by no means bound by these, and, in fact, many students see their interests evolve or even drastically change as they take classes; rather, your answer is meant to help us match you with an adviser and serve as a starting point for discussing how a concentration might come together.)

(That is, are you the first person in your family to attend a 4-year institution of higher education?)
