On the occasion of our golden anniversary, Gallatin offers you a glimpse into our fifty-year history, and of some the people and moments that have shaped the School over the years. This selection is drawn from the Gallatin History Project which will launch in the coming months, documenting Gallatin's beginnings from its early days as the University Without Walls (UWW) and later to the designation of Gallatin as one of the schools of NYU and its growth as a celebrated institution for interdisciplinary teaching and study.
