Luciano Landaburu

Luciano (Lu) Landaburu is an IT specialist at Gallatin and serves as the point person for identifying and implementing IT best practices and providing school-wide IT systems support. In his role, he partners with Gallatin’s vendors and NYU IT to develop new technical initiatives for the school. He also helps supervise and serves as an escalation point for Tier 1 and 2 IT support staff. Lu was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and raised in Ohio. He graduated with a BS in Geographic Information Science and a BA English from The Ohio State University. Lu has 10 + years of IT experience in multiple industries including healthcare, higher education at the State University of New York (SUNY), and non-profit organizations, including the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). Lu is a proud member of Gallatin who views cross-disciplinary approaches to learning and the production of knowledge as the future of education.
