Lisha Bodden is the senior director of alumni engagement and development at the Gallatin School of Individualized Study. Lisha’s career spans a variety of diverse organizations from, social justice, healthcare, the religious sector, and most recently higher education. Working in partnership with NYU and Gallatin leadership. Lisha’s portfolio focuses on celebrating the remarkably innovative Gallatin community across all facets of alumni engagement, mentorship and fundraising. 

Prior to joining Gallatin, Lisha served as director of development at Rutgers University's School of Nursing. In that role she successfully increased the School’s alumni relations and fundraising, closing the largest individual gift Nursing has received in the last ten years. Lisha created the school's first Donor Engagement Committee, increased engagement and collaboration among the School of Nursing’s senior leaders, Alumni Association board, and the broader alumni community. Lisha has also thoughtfully increased The School of Nursing’s visibility across the Rutgers community, the state and the world.

Prior to joining Rutgers Lisha served as senior director of development at Marymount Manhattan College, where she successfully built and maintained relationships across internal and external constituencies to advance the College’s priority initiatives, including: its strategic fundraising and alumni engagement program implementation, impact-driven alumni collaboration, annual, major and planned giving campaigns supporting the College’s goals and objectives. 

In her role at Gallatin, Lisha focuses on fostering connections among Gallatin students, alumni, faculty, staff, parents and friends in strategic, meaningful and innovative ways that elevate connection and visibility for the School across the greater NYU community.
