Timeline for Completing BA-MPH Dual Degree

Full-time students in the dual degree program who complete five MPH required core courses as part of the BA degree, can complete both degrees in five years by completing 159 credits – 128 credits for the BA and an additional 31 credits for the MHP. (Taken separately, the Gallatin BA requires 128 credits and the MPH requires 46 credits, for a total of 174 credits taken over six years.) Below are outlines for the overall dual degree program, and detailed plans for each of the five concentrations available once a student has decided on their path within the MPH program.

Note: all students follow the same timeline for the first three years, regardless of intended concentration within the MPH, and it is in year four (senior year of the BA program) where timelines diverge.
