Gallatin Welcomes New Faculty

Full-time faculty members join the School, bringing expertise in Afro-diasporic cultural history; African literature; the early modern history of science; political science; and music

In the fall of 2017, Gallatin welcomes new full-time faculty members Sybil Cooksey, a scholar of Afro-diasporic cultural history, who will join Gallatin as a Clinical Assistant Professor and Duncan Yoon (pictured top left), a scholar of African literature, who joins as an Assistant Professor.

Political theorist Rosanne Kennedy (pictured bottom right), who has taught courses at Gallatin as a visiting professor since 2014, will continue at Gallatin as a Clinical Assistant Professor. Musician and scholar Kwami Coleman (pictured top right), who joined Gallatin as a postdoctoral fellow in 2016, will return to Gallatin in the fall of 2017 as an Assistant Professor. 

Curator and historian of science Noam Andrews (pictured bottom left) will join as a postdoctoral fellow.
