Barton Bishop received his MFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2003 and was the recipient of the Harry Kondoleon Graduate Award in Playwriting. His play Still the River Runs was nominated in 2008 for six New York Innovative Theatre Awards; excerpts from the play are included in Best Men’s Monologues and Scenes 2009 (Smith and Krauss, 2009). His other plays include Up Up Down Down and Things Fall (Meanwhile), which was developed as part of the Keen Company’s Keen Teens program and published by Playscripts, Inc. He is narrative director at the video game developer and publisher Gameloft, where he has helped develop over one hundred successful mobile games across numerous platforms and genres, working with original IP and licensors, including Marvel, Disney, FOX Interactive, NBC, and WB.
