A top retail executive with over 30 years experience, Harold Brooks has held senior-level positions in management and merchandising with some of the world’s most recognized retailers and brands. Prior to Brooks’ last position as president of merchandising for DFS, one of the world’s largest Duty Free retailers based in Hong Kong, Brooks held senior positions in May Department Stores, Fossil, Kellwood and Federated Department Stores. For the past six years at DFS, the business grew significantly in part because of international expansion. Brooks was instrumental in driving innovation, and helped position the company as one of the world’s premier purveyors of luxury products. He developed strong brand partnerships with brands such as Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Celine, Ferragamo, Tory Burch, Marc Jacobs, Ralph Lauren, Coach in Fashion; Estee Lauder, Lancome, Dior, Guerlian in Beauty; Cartier, Omega, BVLGARI, Van Cleef & Arpels, Tiffany in Watches and Jewelry, and the key Spirits brands of today.
