CONFERENCES AND TALKS
In March 2018, Jennifer Lemberg helped to lead a transnational seminar, "Being in Dialogue: Social Engagement through Holocaust Awareness," sponsored by The Olga Lengyel Institute and held at the Bundesrealgymnasium in der Au, a new and innovative high school in Innsbruck, Austria. The seminar brought together American and Austrian teachers to explore national and personal narratives that shape our understandings of World War II and the Holocaust.
The Edinburgh Companion to Modern Jewish Fiction (Edinburgh University Press, 2015), to which Jennifer Lemberg contributed a chapter on Jewish American Holocaust fiction, has been awarded the 2016 Association of Jewish Libraries’s Judaica Reference Award.
