Combining a passion for creativity and a talent for business, Shira has been helping conceptualize, launch and grow consumer and retail businesses for over 20 years, specializing in the fashion and luxury industries.

Currently, Shira is the CEO of Altuzarra, a luxury RTW, Handbag and Footwear brand, working hand in hand with Creative Director Joseph Altuzarra. From 2017-2019, Shira was the President of Mansur Gavriel, a New York City based fashion and accessory brand. Before joining Mansur Gavriel, Shira was the founding partner of Launch Collective, a management firm for fashion and luxury businesses.

Shira began her career in the art world, working for several contemporary art galleries including Deitch Projects, and held positions in marketing, communications and brand management at Banana Republic and Avon Products before founding Launch Collective in 2005.

Shira is a mentor to the CFDA, RAISE fashion and the Vogue/CFDA Fashion Fund and lectures about fashion and entrepreneurship at Columbia Business School, Harvard Business School, FIT and Parsons The New School of Design. She is a board member of the lemlem foundation.
