MA Candidate - Contemporary Chinese Science Fiction
Sam Patwell graduated from Temple university in 2012 with a BA in English. After spending a year working in a Philadelphia middle school as a City Year member, he joined the Peace Corps and moved to southwest China where he taught English at a university for three years. Now a student at Gallatin, Sam has combined his life-long love of fiction with his new-found love of Chinese literature to craft a thesis on the wonderful world of contemporary Chinese science fiction.
