Being a first-generation college student is an invisible identity that one may hold. At Gallatin, we want to celebrate and validate the experiences of first-generation college students. Please join us for the Gallatin First-Gen Celebration where we hope to create visibility around this identity. There will be food, activities, and an informal panel made up of staff, faculty, and students who all held or currently hold the identity of being a first-generation college student. While this event is dedicated to celebrating first-generation college students, it is open to everybody regardless of background. We hope to see you there!
