Making Durational Performance: Space, Place, and Time

Artist Sarah Cameron Sunde and theater director and Gallatin professor Kristin Horton will discuss durational performances, Sunde’s work, practice, and history, and how to make work with connections to climate change. Sunde’s exhibition, Performing with The Sea: North Sea, Bay of Bengal, Bay of All Saints, Bodo Inlet, is currently on display in The Gallatin Galleries through October 8. Other topics may include ways of engaging space, place, and time in the practice of durational performance and the practical aspects of serial and long term works. Open to NYU Gallatin students and alumni only.
